This is official description
STATGRAPHICS Centurion is designed for anyone who wishes to do serious data analysis without investing weeks learning how to use a statistical package. It contains over 170 statistical procedures, covering everything from summary statistics to design of experiments.
Yet you don't need to be a statistician to use the program. Everything is completely menu-driven, and there are tools such as the StatWizard and StatAdvisor to help you use the program most effectively.
The following review written by one of the Software Informer contributors applies to version 15.2
Statgraphics Centurion is a package of statistical tools. This program can be used to perform data analysis. To use this program, you do not need to have any special knowledge of the subject. Statgraphics Centurion can make recalculations automatically when the input data or calculation parameters are changed. The program offers you more than 150 statistical procedures for basic and advanced statistics, confidence interval, Hypothesis testing, control charts, capability analysis, and much more.
There are a lot of useful and handy tools. The “StatWizard” helps you to select the appropriate statistical task you want to perform. The “StatAdvisor” provides you with an explanation on every received statistical result. This statistical program is very powerful and flexible in both calculation operations and graphs. You can create various plots: scatterplots, exploratory plots, time sequence plots, business and custom charts, surface and contour plots. You can describe a numeric, categorical and life data, use different descriptive methods, compare two or multiple samples. You can save all your results in one file using the “StatFolio” feature. Also there is the “StatPublish” tool, which creates HTML pages automatically and allows you to see the statistical results in web browsers. Besides, the program provides you with unlimited control capabilities. You can specify a confidence level, data of control charts, graphics, forecasting, gage studies, stats, and so on. Also you can change a text font and analysis title. To download a 30-days trial version you should register on the developer’s website. Then a password and login will be sent you by e-mail. |
